I like fish. They're yummy! You can do so much with fish like have them with chips, make a sandwich out of them, and you can even make them into meatballs! It's true! Fish balls! I know, it sounds strange, but what am I supposed to call them? Fish "meat"balls? I'll stick with fish balls. These ones are salmon balls and are so easy to make!
Salmon Balls
Yield: Approx. 12 balls (it depends on how big you make the balls)
Ingredients:
- 2 cans of salmon
- 1 egg
- Salt
- Pepper
- Lemon Juice
- Paprika
These are the ingredients that I used but you can also add garlic or garlic powder, onions, or other ingredients that you like with fish for the taste that you prefer. Go on and experiment! That's what I do because you never know what will work or taste good until you try it for yourself!
Directions:
- Mix the salmon and the egg.
- Mix all other ingredients in with the salmon mixture (I just eyeball the ingredients and put in the amounts that I prefer).
- Roll the salmon mixture into balls and place on a greased baking sheet.
- Cook the balls in the oven at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
Be aware that these salmon balls are kind of crumbly. I didn't mind because I liked cutting them up and spreading them around in my spaghetti.
Voilà! Bon appétit!
These salmon balls taste great with spaghetti and spaghetti sauce or maybe they'd even taste great in a meatball sandwich! It would be a fish ball sandwich! I'll have to try that next time I make them!
